Canadian act Sabire took the metal world by storm with theirdebut mini album, Gates Ajar, and many are waiting for their debutfull length album entitled Jätt to be released. The band are nowbased in Sydney, Australia and released this 2-track single inFebruary of 2020 as a taste of what to expect from the highlyanticipated Jätt. The band claims to play Pure Concentrated AcidMetal band which in Sabire case seems to mean metal that is rootedin the punk infused style of bands like Motorhead, but with a mucheasier going and uplifting vibe to the music. It’s traditionalheavy metal that’s a cross between Tank and High Spirits /Professor Black with tons of catchy vocal hooks and all the rightattitude. As one would expect from a band taking heavy influencefrom Tank and Motorhead, fast paced lead guitars are at theforefront. So play this loud as it has an acidity level that goesup to 11
