Oiva's Wonderland is a new work published by the Finnish Museum of Glass, which tells the story of Oiva Toika (1931-2019), one of our country's most prominent glass artists. The texts of the book are in Finnish and English. In the book, Kai Savola, the former director of the National Theatre, tells about Toika's work in the theater world. Toikka worked as a set designer and costume designer for the National Theatre, the National Opera and other theaters. The publication is also made with collectors in mind: at the end of the publication there is a complete pictorial list of all Toikka's birds and year cubes that were in serial production.
