Barbie doll with black hair-Mattel 1966 Malaysia (Weight: 152g)

This item is a vintage Barbie doll with black hair

The doll has Mattel INC. 1966 on the rear and was made in Malaysia which actually dates this doll circa 1980s

Barbie dolls produced during the 1960s and early 1970s were made in Japan and whilst Mattel didn’t change the year it was copyrighted, dolls produced after this year into the 80s and 90s still had 1966 as the date shown

However, those later produced dolls were made in Malaysia, China and Mexico and this doll was made in Malaysia

The doll is used and is in good condition overall but the outfit is worn and needs cleaning and a ribbon has been added as a tie

The doll measures 30cm x 7.5cm x 7cm (depth including hair)
