Germany. National Arts & Crafts Exhibition Munich 1888.
Engraved year 1888 by Max Gube, signature on reverse. Struck by Augsburg-Drentwett mint, Germany. Tin 47 mm. Weight 31,4 gram. Mint condition, with mirror surface!
(The red in the medal surface is a mirror reflection from the back in my room when photografing the medal).
Obverse: Rhombus with decorated sides, inside text "ZUR", "ERINNERUNG", "AN DIE", "DEUTCH-NATIONALE", "KUNS-GWERBE-", "AUSSTELLUNG", "IN", MÜNCHEN", "1888". (The memory of the arts and crafts exhibtion in Munich 1888).
Reverse: Bavaria standing between the city sign and the exhibition coat of arms. Designers name at bottom, with designer's name at bottom, "M. GUBE", "DRENTWETT".
