The members of Trial (swe) joined forces in 2007 in Sweden,laying their previous musical endeavours to rest to createsomething together. Doomed by the restlessness of youth, many songswere written during their humble beginnings, but few withstood thetest of time. The group released their first demo in 2010 - withoutmoney, proper equipment or label - which lead to a record deal fortheir first full-length, The Primordial Temple (2011). Determinedto develop their brand of heavy metal even further, Trial wrote andrecorded the Malicious Arts EP (2013), which became yet anotherstepping stone from where the band was to where they wanted to be."That EP, in many ways, became our first road to liberate us fromourselves," Trial recalls. "Rising from the ashes of our formerselves, we took things further beyond, which ultimately resulted inthe album `Vessel´ (2015)." The band entered Studio Mega togetherwith producer and engineer Olof Berggren, armed to the teeth withpassion and purpose. As the first snow fell over the countrysidethat surrounded the studio, the first chords were struck and thusthe shaping of Motherless had begun. "We knew from there on that wewere onto something rather special, we felt it in our bones," theband explains. "About a month later we came out on the other side,completely empty and devoid of rational thought…Just like lasttime, we gave Costin Chioreanu the freedom to interpret our musicfrom within his own strange universe and we are very glad that wedecided to do so. It´s as if he speaks the same wordless language,we understand each other´s visions without needing to voice them.We are extremely eager to share this with all of you!"
