Most of you arefamiliar with this band thanks to their Under One Flag debut album,The Sane Asylum. That thrash metal opus was released in 1987 butthe bands history goes way back. The Likewise Sessions The UltimateAnthology Vol.1 album features the very first recordings remasteredfrom the original master tapes, featuring a total of 14 songs,written at a time when the band members were averaging 16 years ofage. Songs like Kamakazi, The Watcher, Rockers Unite and DeathNoise will send shivers down your spine. This band could and shouldhave been really huge, but the problem was that they have alwaysbeen way ahead of their time. Imagine that the songs and lyricswere written in 1979 and there are lyrics like the following: Earlypop has got to die, Progressive Metal is my reply. This must be thevery first reference to Progressive Metal and this is coming fromnearly 42 years ago. Crazy! This is the first volume of a series ofupcoming reissues featuring all the unreleased and demo songs BlindIllusion ever did.
