Sometimes youve just got to tell itlike it is and make the best of a bad situation. Dogs Damourvocalist Tyla, it seems is one of the many artists and fans to bedone over by Pledge Music and posted the following to those thathad supported his new album, F**K PL**GE. Dear Friends andPledgers, Hope alls well in your world. We just wanted to give youa quick update on the shenanigans over at PledgeMusic. As many ofyou may have heard theyre in dire financial straits. They oweindependent artists between $1million and $3 million collectivelyand unable to pay are now in the process of declaringbankruptcy. Yes, you read that right! They owe struggling artistsup to 3 million dollars and are reneging on their paymentresponsibilities by putting the company into liquidation. It wouldappear theyve f**ked both fans and artists by stealing everyonesmoney! And, worst of all, they lied about it for months duringwhich they continued to collect money from fans without paying itthrough to the artists for whom it was pledged. As such, manyartists have been left with debts, unfinished projects andunfulfilled dreams whilst numerous pledgers have been left withoutVinyl, CDs, T-shirts and various other merch items for which theyhave paid. On a personal level Pledge still owe us $20,000. All ofwhich was earmarked to pay-off our album recording costs and Vinyl,CD and T-shirt manufacturing costs. (In their defence we didreceive an initial part-payment of some of the monies we were owed which went towards our recording costs). But now we know forcertain theres no chance of us being paid wed like to try andrecoup some of our losses by offering you the opportunity to buy anexclusive, limited-edition, 10-song F**K PL**GE cd. With originalartwork by Tyla the cd wont be available in any shops. Itll bestrictly limited to the number of orders we receive here. Itllcontain a selection of songs from our trilogy of In Vino Veritasalbums In Vino Veritas, In Vino Veritas Acoustica, In MusicaVeritas and a couple from the forthcoming, Graveyard Of EmptyBottles MMXIX anniversary edition. And a few others! Some youllhave heard, some youll already own, some youll know and some willsurprise you.
