This handcrafted stoneware vase is part of the ‘Erika’ series. It is produced on the legendary ceramics factory Søholm Pottery. It was made as a collaboration between Noomi Backhausen, who did the glaze and the forms were designed by Paul Brandborg.
Noomi Backhausen (1938-2011) is famous for her work at Søholm Pottery on the island Bornholm in Denmark, where she was one of the key employees between 1966 and 1990. Noomi’s designs are always bold and expressive, and has a joyful and occasionally playful feel to it.
