Kingo Ceramic studio was started by the Ceramist Ingrid Folmer Larsen, who had the Fynsk Ceramik workshop on the property Kingosvang near Fraugde in Denmark. The registered the trademark Thomas Kingo (after Bishop Kingo) in 1968. The property and the studio Kingo Ceramic was closed around 1990. Inger Folmer Larsen is also known for her great work with the ceramist Lillemor Clement
