With its hilarious plot about a gangster going back to school, My Boss, My Hero turned into a huge box office hit, and the beginning of a blockbuster franchise. Gang leader Do Shik (Jung Jun Ho) has succeeded in taking over all of downtown Seoul, but he soon develops an inferiority complex about his lack of education. His boss orders him to return to high school to earn his degree. As soon as he gets there, he finds that the school is actually more violent and corrupted than the criminal underworld.
