The distinctive luminous marks behind the hour markers give the appearance of eyes at night. They may not be the hundred points of light such as were described the eyes of the giant in Greek mythology, but because they can be seen so clearly, Argus, the guardian of time, immediately comes to mind.

Heat treated (blued) hands and markers with an exceptional made dial and superb luminous hour markers. This watch screams quality!! It keeps excellent time within 30s/a day according to my non scientific measurement.

The diameter of the watch is 38mm and lug-length 42mm.

It was made for a company in the beginning of 2000’s which has been confirmed with Rainer Brand themselves. It’s based on their Argus model and the only difference is the logo on the dial.
Rainer brand might have replacement dials with their own branding in stock.
