Vintage lamp in Art Deco (Funkis) style ball form. Handmade and hand-painted with flowers. Made of red faience. The form was created by Finnish designer Kurt Ekholm, who was renowned Scandinavian ceramist from the 1930s to the 1960s, who worked in Finland and Sweden.

He was the artistic director of the Arabia porcelain factory from 1932 to 1948, and a teacher at the Gothenburg School of Arts and Crafts from 1948 to 1962, and the school's principal from 1950 to 1966.

Rather rare one. Made by Arabia porcelain factory, art-department ARA. 1930s - 1940s. Dimensions: Height 22 cm, Diameter 17 cm. It was marked both by manufacturer "Käsinsorvattu Handdrejad. Arabia Made in Finland" and the painter H. Excellent vintage condition. In working condition. Sold without a bulb and a shade.
