Incorrect category choices
A listing must be placed in the correct product category.
Why do we have this rule?
When an item is placed in the wrong category, the search experience on Tradera deteriorates, making it harder to find items and increasing the risk of purchasing the wrong item. If Tradera notices that an ad has been placed in the wrong category, we may move the ad to the most suitable category.
Not allowed
- A spare part for a Mercedes car must not be listed in the category for Mercedes cars.
- A gold-plated jewel must not be listed in the category for gold.
- A case for an iPhone must not be listed in the category for iPhone phones.
Permitted actions
- A Dala horse listed in the category for Dala horses
- A MacBook listed in the category for Apple – Laptops
- A fishing line listed in the category for fishing lines
