Two wall lights by Gunnar Asplund (1885-1940) for Asea, Sweden. Very rare Amber coloured glass. Probably from the 1940s. "GA9” appears to be inspired by a droplet, floating upward the wall. The mouth blown glass with bubbles creates an intricate play between light and shadow, giving the appearance of light travelling through water.

Glass droplets height 24cm, width 23cm.

Not tested. Need new cables. Good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
