Sir Gawain and the Green Knight is an edition of the Middle English long poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, co-edited by J.R.R. Tolkien and E.V. Gordon. Tolkien edited the main text and compiled the glossary, while Gordon provided the greater part of the notes. It also includes an introduction and a linguistic appendix.
