Sandviks glasbruk i Hovmantorp grundades 1889, det bytte ägare några gånger innan Edvard Strömberg köpte bruket 1905. 1918 köptes bruket av Orrefors och fungerade som dotterbolag fram till nedläggningen 2004. Man tillverkade många serviser med Orrefors varumärke
