A quarter of a century ago, in a town south of Montreal calledSaint Bruno, the two brothers Rick and Dan Hughes decided theywanted to be in a heavy metal band. The founded the band Sword andmade a splendid powerful and solid album called Metalized in 1986.The sophomore album Sweet Dreams appeared in 1988 and with thatalbum they tried to repeated the formula of their debut with solidsongwriting and production. But when the two brothers found a boxof demos that record companies had rejected in the late 80s itignited a spark and soon they had fire under their asses. Thematerial found deserved more and they wanted to revisit and reworktheese old tunes in order to actualize it and get some sort ofvengeance. The result? You be the judge!
