The French death metal act Hysteria wasformed in 1996 and 20 years later they released their third album,Flesh Humiliation And Irreligious Deviance, and still with theoriginal line-up intact. With lyrical themes centred around chaos, suffering and desolation, backed up by some brutal and melodicdeath metal, this promises to be an extremely heavy release. These11 compositions shows strength of modern sounding death metal andits genuine riffs. The album is very mature and some of the songsis so dismal and atmospheric that they are borded into black metaland it pushes the album into a darker direction than their previousalbums. It feels like this French band have take some musicalinspiration from the Scandinavian scene like Dissection, AmonAmarth and Zornheym.
