And after imbibing on Kraven's jungle potions, the Gibbon is ready to kill the web-slinger! Rest assured...the wall-crawler will take the Gibbon very serious during their next encounter! In the meantime, Aunt May has seemingly disappeared from New York City after having a tiff with Gwen Stacy. Where did she go? Cameo appearances by Joe Robertson, J. Jonah Jameson, and Gwen Stacy. (Notes: John Romita is credited as a co-plotter of the story. This issue begins Gerry Conway's 3-year run as the writer of the Amazing Spider-Man title. This story was reprinted in Marvel Tales #90.) 32 pages.
