Bermudian singer-songwriter and poetHeather Nova recorded live in Germany in June and July of 2003.First out is a concert from Grunspan in Hamburg, Germany on the15th of July. This was a really hot evening where many fled intothe foyer to try to get a glimpse of fresh air. Five of the tentracks performed this evening comes from Ms Novas at the time newalbum Storm, a tremendously melancholy, soulful and just wonderfulwork. And wonderful was also Nova this night. Ms Nova is a womanthat manages to capture the attention from anyone and everyone inthe concert hall. She looks dreamily-naive and yet confident anddetermined and even if youre placed in the back row it still feelslike she looks straight into your eyes. This was a calm show, fullof honest and deep feelings and often close to the border ofmelancholy. This was an evening of total satisfaction even thoughthe clothes were soaked with sweat. There are also 5 bonus tracksfrom her show at the Gloria Theater in Cologne on the 16th ofJune.
