The first release in the new STAR WARS™ Carbonite Bar Series was struck by the New Zealand Mint from three ounces of 99.9% silver and features Han Solo™ frozen in carbonite. The famous scene comes from the 1997 film "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back".
The coin in antique finish is shaped like an ingot to show the full
length version of the frozen Han. The reverse of the carbonite bar
presents the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, as well
as the weight, fineness and official copyright.
