Peter Nande has been devoted to the blues music since he heard Brownie McGhee and Sonny Terry at the age of 16. He bought his first harmonicas and started to mess around, but soon gave up?nobody wanted play the blues in the 80ties - especially not in that sleepy town in the Danish countryside, where he grew up.

Six years later he found himself in the capital Copenhagen, just graduated from the Danish Engineering Academy - he still had his old harmonicas and a dream of playing the blues ? and he knew it was now or never. Over the next 5 years he practiced like a madman day and night, and was listening closely to guys like Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, Jr. Wells, Little Walter and Howlin? Wolf, plus some of the newer generation like Charlie Musselwhite, James Harman, Bill Clarke etc.....more to come soon!

This album is a dream-come-true for Peter Nande, harpplayer and vocalist from Denmark. 'Icepick James' aka James Harman offered production work and support for Peter. Accompanied by his regular guitar player, Peter flew to Southern California and recorded this awesome, cool-sounding record. Traditional style blues from the US west coast.
