This tool developed by RSW Solutions enables the owner of a L322 Range Rover (2001-2012 model years) to reset a specific Air Suspension fault code by simply plugging this device into the diagnostic connector. This reactivates the air suspension that otherwise requires a visit to the dealer for (1) a reset operation, or (2) an air compressor replacement job.
This tool logs into the car, resets the code and your Air Suspension springs into life again !

where its developer RSW Solutions demonstrates the tool.
This fault condition otherwise will increase your desperation to want to visit a Land Rover service shop to reset the car *every time it happens*
They typically charge some 30 GBP every time they do the reset, and they will suggest you come in for an air compressor replacement, a GBP 1000 level of job.
The fault typically showed up once a week in my case.
This tool enables you to postpone/avoid a dealer visit and pays for itself many times over; the dozens of times you might continue to want to postpone the cost /effort of air compressor replacement.
Once you get tired of living the not so pesky EAS Reset lifestyle, you may decide to order a new compressor unit anyway and get everything back to normal.
Technical: The Error code is set when the car senses that the air compressor fills up the air suspension slower than normal. It typically happens when the car air compressor is about to the come closer to the end of its lifespan, where it does not produce as much air volume as when new. In any case Land Rover decided to design a test routine into the system that checks how fast the compressor fills up the suspension. Too slow according to the test routine and it then sets the fault code.
The problem for the L322 owner is that when the code become set this disables the air suspension so you can no longer rise or lower the car manually. The message "AIR SUSP. INACTIVE" is shown on the instrument panel.
The air suspension deactivation can be experienced as a significant handicap to the car's agility until the issue is resolved, or you get hold of this tool..
Replacing the air suspension compressor is some >1000 GBP service shop cost (an easy DIY job at lower cost if you order and install one yourself). Or until you are ready for that, plug this tool in and get a new postponing lease of life for some days !
