Rolling Stones captured at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama,Japan on Sunday the 2nd of April 2006, during their A Bigger BangTour. This was the fourth gig in Japan and the band really couldnthave pick a more perfect time then April in Japan. This was thecherry blossom week in Japan. The parks were thronging withvisitors marvelling at the beautiful pink flowers. Saturday was abeautiful sunny day in Tokyo but the weather turned and Sundaymorning was overcast. In the afternoon the wind started to get upand it was obvious a storm was on the way. It hit Saitama SuperArena at 7:15 and the crowd went ballistic. With only 15,000tickets available this was the gig everyone wanted to see in Japanand we were not to be disappointed. The stage were smaller but theband really was on fire and gave an electrified performancethroughout. Saitama is suburban city of Tokyo and compared to theearlier and bigger shows the days prior to this then this arenareally brought out Charlies drum sound much better and thelightning looked better too. Mick was in such an animated goodmood. He was superb and had the crowd at his feet. Opening withJumping Jack Flash, the Stone’s performance tonight was similar totheir first show at Tokyo Dome, with the order of their set listaltered slightly. One noteworthy addition to the show was WildHorses and they did a beautiful version of it. Sway was wonderfulto hear and Midnight Rambler were Mick sang, danced, and played theharmonica perfectly.
