Dan Martin Masell traveled the sea at a young age. Then he became interested in art. He landed in France and went to Paris. There he studied at various art festivals. After returning to Sweden, he lived in Stockholm and continued his studies. He studied at the Edvin Oilers School of Painting and with Isaac Grunewald at the Academy of Fine Arts. He painted landscapes realistically referring to Småland, with meadows and forest areas, where birch takes the central place. Solo exhibitions: nationwide since debut in Södertälje in 1947. Collections: in many public and private collections.
