The Troublemakers history goes back to the Swedish radio show NyVåg (New Wave) that started back in August of 1980. It wasbroadcast 3 times a week and each show ran for 15 minutes each. Butti was when the radio show took the chance to conduct their ownstudio sessions, an idea copied from the famous BBC sessions, thatit became an even bigger success. Among the bands that did their NyVåg sessions were Gothenburgs punk pride Troublemakers. The radioshow ceased to exist on the 15th of August 1985 but Troublemakersare still around and judging by their adrenaline pumping live showswe actually see no end in sight. Their 40th anniversary had to bepostponed for a year due to the covid restrictions but the autumnof 2021 saw the band performing two Anniversary shows as well asreleasing a new album, En Sista Skål, featuring 12 new dazzlingpunk tunes
