Sacrilegious Impalement is a stellar Finnish black metal actthat draws upon all the expected influences, in particular Bathoryand Hellhammer. Old school black metal but with a completely newlook. In just eight minutes, Sacrilegious Impalement shoots in twosongs. Both raw, old school black with a wonderful groove. Thelatter is especially noticeable in Behead The Infants Of God,because it gives the song a wonderful flow. Kaosbringer’s rawvocals and Impaler Von Bastard’s repetitive playing stylecharacterize the rest of the music and arouse the desire for more,much more! The title track is most in line with the previous work,as it has the same characteristic, dragging playing style,alternating with fierce drum bursts and accelerations. Because thegroovy character is not as evident here as in the second song, theeffect is much darker. Sacrilegious Impalement is very varied indetails and they know how to create really wonderful pieces ofmusic.
