Shaped picture disc with inlay. Limited 500 copies
The two tracks on this shaped picture disc was taken fromMorgoth´s 1990 album The Eternal Fall. This was at a time whendeath metal was still a new and developing genre. Compared to theirearlier EP Resurrection Absurd, The Eternal Fall was a step forwardfor Morgoth in terms of production. Musically it was more dynamicand tighter. Morgoth were big fans of Death, so much is obviouswhen listening to their Eternal Fall recording. The Schuldinerimitation by vocalist Marc Crewe was very transparent, hoveringsomewhere between Scream Bloody Gore and Leprosy. The musichowever, although still heavily Death influenced, was slightly moreEuropean in terms of using a fairly larger amount of polka punkdrums. Burnt Identity was very powerful and the dynamic butunfortunately they never released anything this goodafterwards.
