Anachronaeon was formed in a town in Sweden called Vasterasunder the name Human Failure and recorded one self titled demo in2002. The band then decided to take a more serious direction withtheir third demo and changed name to Anachronaeon. A strange namefor a strange band. Anachronaeon mixes the Swedish melodic deathmetal with melancholic Finnish metal ala Sentenced with someexperimental progressive ideas. The band combines in a perfect waythe heavy with the death metal vocals together with lot of melodyand clean vocals. It makes the album highly coherent, even thoughthey use many different styles and sounds, they never sound likeanybody else. This album is for any open-minded metaller but willcertainly irritate some metal purist
