Norwegianact Red Harvest performs crunchingly industrial extreme metal withless emphasis on the noise and rambling instrumentals that a lot ofindustrial bands favor. If I could compare Red Harvest to any oneband, it would be Godflesh. Where Godflesh lacks song structure andlyrical content though, Red Harvest comes through. As with most oftheir previous material, the band has made sure to maintaininteresting and avoid the obvious musical pattern throughout theentire album. You are never quite sure what is going to be offeredup next. A Greater Darkness is a bit tighter then some earlier RedHarvest album and overall this is jet another exciting Red Harvestalbum. There arent many bands out there that can deliver onesatisfying metal album with industrial sound after another. AGreater Darkness sees Red Harvest an album that once again deliversin that regard.
