Oceanwake -Earthen cd S/S 2017 Finnish progressive doom

After two successful European tours, Oceanwake set out to writethe final part of their ambitious trilogy of albums. The closingchapter, titled Earthen, consists of two lengthy and dynamiccompositions, clocking in at over 20 minutes each. Even though bothof the songs bear the Oceanwake hallmark, one shouldn't besurprised to find the band once again visiting new, strange andunexpected territories. To tie the album with it's predecessorsmusically, some unused fragments from Sunless sessions were given anew form inside these two meandering but naturally evolving epics.On Earthen, Oceanwake continue their fruitful relationship withproducer Jonne Järvelä (of Korpiklaani fame).
