Namely stealing a million dollars in case he draws the short straw at the Gathering! But Override's hasty heist captures the attention of the Sensational Spider-Man! And the web-slinger is going to make Override pay for his overdraft! Meanwhile, Mary Jane decides to leave school and restart her modeling career! Now she just needs to tell her wall-crawling husband! Cameo appearances by Norman Osborn and Aura. (Notes: The formal Gathering takes place in Amazing Spider-Man 441. As part of Marvel's relaunching of the Spider-Man titles in late 1998, the Sensational Spider-Man (1996 1st series) series was cancelled and essentially replaced by the Spider-Man Chapter One (1999) series. This issue features a gatefold cover recapping the previous events in the Gathering of Five storyline.
