The packaging design and product category suggest it dates back to the 1980s or early 1990s, a period when playful, cartoon-themed underwear was particularly popular. The Swedish text on the back (“Skötselråd”, etc.) indicates that this product was distributed or sold in Sweden, while still being manufactured in England.

What intrigues me is whether this was an official Disney product. I wonder if Wolsey had proper licensing rights to use the character. Despite the design featuring a lovely classic-looking Mickey Mouse, I haven’t been able to find any matching product online, no matter how I search.

That makes this piece feel even more unique and mysterious.
