When a simple job goes awry, Kane and Lynch are sought after by the entire underworld in Shanghai. Lynch lives well as a handyman in Shanghai, where he has settled down with his girlfriend. He is involved in a major arms deal, but needs help to carry it out. Kane is a restless former mercenary with family problems who need to get away from it all. Despite their differences, Lynch contacts him for help.
