Hello all Nixie lovers out there! Up for sale is a Nixie tube based tape timer, search, and control system by DATUM Inc. I restarted this unit from the 1960's but it smells a bit. The Nixies glow, but weakly, so there is probably something wrong with the HT system. As you can see the unit uses TTL and DTL circuits in sockets that are wire-wrapped, probably by hand. The unit will fit a 19" rack system, having a height of about 2". The Nixies are Burroughs B5991. A complete user's service manual & drawings are provided.
Because of the dimensions and weight of the unit it cannot be shipped using Tradera's discounted solutions. Shipping (Post, DHL, Bussgods etc.) will probably cost about 400 SEK. But you are welcome to pick up the unit.
For the Nixie collector I am willing to detach the Nixies and ship those by DHL (cost about 65 SEK) while scrapping the rest.
